ARCTIC SOULS:

Arctic Souls documents human presence in the far north, focusing on daily life, movement and work in Arctic environments. The series explores how people live, travel, and adapt in cold and remote landscapes.

The photographs are made through close engagement and extended time in the field, observing activities such as travel by dog sled, snowmobile or boat, skiing, hiking, kayaking and glacier and river crossings. Emphasis is placed on interaction with place rather than portraiture alone.

This body of work reflects an interest in resilience, continuity and the relationship between people, tradition and environment in Arctic regions.
