Media Production & Storytelling
Field-based media production and visual storytelling in remote and demanding environments.
Media production in remote environments requires more than technical skill. It demands preparation, adaptability and an understanding of how stories unfold in the field.
I work as a photographer and visual storyteller on documentary and editorial projects, contributing directly to the creation of media on location. My role often extends beyond image-making to include field logistics, movement planning and operating safely in challenging conditions.
Projects may involve extended travel by foot, skis, snowmobile or vessel, working in cold, wind, low light or variable terrain. This field experience allows me to integrate naturally into small crews or work independently while remaining aligned with a broader production vision.
My background is primarily in still photography, with an increasing focus on video and expedition-based storytelling. I am particularly interested in projects that follow journeys, processes or long-form narratives rather than isolated moments. These may include expeditions, scientific fieldwork, environmental documentation or human presence in remote landscapes.
I collaborate with production teams, media outlets, institutions and independent projects looking for field-ready contributors who can operate responsibly, think visually and support storytelling through both creative and practical engagement.
This approach prioritizes trust, discretion and continuity. Some collaborations are short assignments.
In-field support may include:
Planning and operating in remote or cold environments
Movement logistics (ski, hike, snowmobile, vessel-based travel)
Working alongside small crews or researchers in the field
Awareness of safety, wildlife and environmental constraints
This work is suited for:
Documentary and editorial productions
Expedition and journey-based storytelling
Media outlets and independent productions
Environmental and science-related media projects
Small crews working in remote or logistically complex locations
